About DigiSam Foundation

Founded on the belief that digital literacy is a pathway to empowerment, we've been bridging the digital divide for communities since May 2025.

Our Story

DigiSam Foundation was born from a simple observation: the world is changing rapidly with the advancement of AI. We believe this AI revolution will bring both opportunities and challenges—and history shows us that women from lower socio-economic backgrounds are often the ones left behind, paying the highest price.

We see an urgent need to ensure that women from marginalised communities are not just passive observers of this change, but active participants shaping this future. For us, it's not just about digital literacy—it's about the democratisation of AI, where everyone has a voice in how this technology shapes their own future.

The idea for DigiSam Foundation took root in May 2025. Just a few months later, in August 2025, we launched our first initiative,Survey Sakhi, to understand women's digital literacy and day-to-day challenges in rural India that can be fixed using AI.

This is only the beginning of our journey to bridge the AI divide, bring diverse voices to the table, and empower women to thrive in the digital age.
